The training movies

Note that the camera had problems with color and the photograher was/is not a professional. Dependng on the settings in your browser it may be necessary to download the movie before it will run. I have no control of this.
  1. Stating to get ready. Before the actual helicopter working we had a discussion with the helicopter crew.
  2. Picking up the load. We used several old tires as a test load. Note that the load swings when picked up and that the students got a good distance away before the helicopter acutaly picked up the load.
  3. Returning with the load. Note that this is a "double Pickup" and that the load is allowed to fully land on the ground before anyone approaches itto release it from the Helicopter. This is to prevent the load from "bumping into" the ground crew and to allow any static charge that might have built up on the load to be harmlessly dissipaged.
